What we do with your email

Written to be read, not to be defensible. If anything below is unclear, that is our fault — write to us and we will fix the wording.

What we collect

Your email address, and the date you gave it to us. That is the whole list.

We do not collect photographs, we do not collect anything about your face, and this page has never asked your browser for a camera. We do not store your IP address. We do not use cookies, so there is no cookie banner to dismiss.

What we use it for

One thing: to tell you when passports are available. When that happens, you will get one email. If you would rather not hear from us at that point, ignore it and you will not hear from us again.

We do not sell it. We do not share it. We do not hand it to an advertising network, a data broker, or an analytics company — there is no analytics script on this site at all, which you are welcome to confirm in your browser’s network tab.

How to be removed

Email hello@faceward.org and say so. You do not need to explain, and you do not need to use the same address you signed up with as long as you tell us which one to remove. We delete the row — it is not flagged, hidden, or kept for our records.

Where it lives

On a single server we run, in a small database file. It is not copied to a third-party mailing-list service.

If this project stops

If we decide not to build Faceward, we will send one email saying so and then delete the list. We will not sell it or pass it to whoever buys the domain.
